I've been sick and still am. I am sorry for lack of updates yet AGAIN - but it hasn't been TOO long this time at least.
I promise to give full updates when I have recovered!
I miss blogging! :-(

Pinterest - my new online social obsession!
I don't know if you have all heard of Pinterest yet, but it's a blast. You basically make "pin boards" of things you love and "pin" photos of them on your "boards".
So far I only have 3 boards..."My childhood", "People I love" & "If I won the lottery..."
It's a blast! And you can repin, comment or like what others are doing.
If you haven't already, go sign up.
Take a look at mine here!

Current Favorites: Television Edition
I am not a HUGE TV person, I am more of a computer person. However, currently there are some shows that I love and DVR and watch RELIGIOUSLY. And here they are, in no particular order:
Dance Moms
Lifetime, Tuesday Evenings
These Moms are insane. Everyone gives Abby the gruff but if you watch closely, it's the moms that are RIDICULOUS. And yet, I watch. It's like watching High School drama all over again!
Glee
Fox, Tuesday Evenings
I've watched this since the pilot episode. Of course the show has hits and misses for me but all in all I just love the show. It reminds me of the high school musicals I did, and I just love all the actors. They are so talented!
Grey's Anatomy
ABC, Thursday Evenings
I challenge ANYONE who has never seen this show, to rent or buy season one, and watch the first episode. If you are not HOOKED, we cannot be friends! This show literally slays me every week. Anyone who watches it understands the obsessive cult following it has!
Disappeared
Investigation Discovery, Monday Evenings
This show always makes me think. It is freaky to know that someone you love could literally walk out of the house to run an errand and never be seen or heard from again. This show is amazing, and my favorite show on my favorite channel: Investigation Discovery
Pan Am
ABC, Sunday Evenings
Another show I've watched since the first episode in September. I just love it. The style, the era, the actors. I GREW UP watching Christina Ricci so it's nice to be able to see her in something every week. The story lines are very interesting, it isn't just about romance and whatnot. I am pleasantly surprised at how much I love this show!
Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood
Oxygen, Tuesday Evenings
I never really liked Tori Spelling until I tuned into an episode of Tori & Dean: Inn Love many years ago, and I've since been hooked on them. I love them as a couple, as parents, as friends. They are funny and real and just fun to watch!
Harry's Law
Wednesday Evenings, NBC
Now, Kathy Bates is one of my favorite actors of all time! This show is great, it has a couple of story lines every week that just grip you and pull you in. And Kathy Bates is as usual...AMAZING!
So I think everyone needs to tune into these shows. It's hard to find friends who like them all or even a mixture. I tend to be all over the spectrum. But hey that's me....ECLECTIC!

App Alert! "My Fitness Pal"
As I'm sure many of you have done, one of my resolutions is to get in shape and lose weight for 2012. To help me with this, I got an amazing App called My Fitness Pal.
It's available on tons of platforms: iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry, or the WWW.
And....it's FREE!
It has a database of over 1.5 Million foods for you to keep track of your daily calorie intake, lets you scan items not currently in the database and you can also keep track of your exercise to see how many calories you've burned. Absolutely amazing. It's basically Weight Watchers but totally free!
Here's a link to their site: My Fitness Pal. Try it out. You won't be disappointed!

Currently Using....
Oral-B Professional Care 3000 Electric Toothbrush
Price varies by location
I got this from my Dad for Christmas. Basically, if you use this instead of a manual brush you will feel like you've had a professional dental cleaning 2x a day. There is a sensor on it and a red light will go on if you are putting too much pressure on your teeth/gums when you brush, and there's a timer as well. It's a REALLY good investment, I highly recommend it!
Where to purchase: At Amazon here!
Currently Eating....
Tangerines
Ahh, tangerines. Sweeter than oranges but not as sweet or as small as clementines. I just love them. They aren't really seedless but they satisfy the sweet craving and give you that Vitamin C!
Currently Puckering Up With....
Revlon Lip Butters
Price varies by location
These are great! I really hope they aren't limited edition. If you aren't a lipstick wearer and you don't like the stickiness of a lipgloss, I recommend these! They give just a pop of color and feel like a chapstick. I'm OBSESSED with them!
Currently Watching....
My new TV!
I got this a week after Christmas from my Mom & Auntie. Isn't it purdy??? I'm obsessed with it. I have a new Blue-Ray DVD player as well with a Netflix subscription so I've been watching it constantly. It probably isn't healthy but...oh well!

Makeup Hall of Fame: Concealers
Ah, concealers. Makeups little miracles. Under eye circles, blemishes, acne scars...we just don't want to see them on our faces, and our concealers always seem to help us with our little skin insecurities. Here are some of the best (and one of the WORST) I've come across:
Department Store Concealers
Erase Paste
Benefit Cosmetics
Price: $26.00
This concealer is amazing for tired eyes with dark circles. The color is a salmon base, which will counteract the purple or blue under eye circles, basically making them disappear. It comes in three colors, and a little goes a LONG way due to it's very creamy consistency. A little pricey but WORTH it.
Where to purchase: benefitcosmetics.com, sephora.com, select Macy's locations
Studio Sculpt Concealer
M-A-C Cosmetics
Price: $17.00
The amount of product you get in this is staggering considering the fact that you only need a little bit on your concealer brush to get this to cover your blemishes. Set it with powder and you are good to go! It comes in a large range of shades, and it's in a very durable glass pot.
Where to purchase: maccosmetics.com, M-A-C store locations, select Macy's & Nordstrom locations
Best Drugstore Concealer
Studio Concealer
ELF Cosmetics
Price: $3.00
This is a wonderful stick concealer for both under eye circles and blemishes. I will use this concealer if I am in a hurry due to the ease of use (not having to use a brush to apply it, etc) then set it with powder. For the price it gives great coverage!
Where to purchase: eyeslipsface.com, select Target locations
HALL OF SHAME - CONCEALER:
Studio Corrective Concealer
ELF Cosmetics
Price: $3.00
Okay, so the whole point of this concealer is to counteract any uneven skin tone. The green counteracts red, the pink counteracts blue, etc. I understand the concept and I have used similar products that work well, but this one DOES NOT. The coverage is SHEER, and they all look the same when applied. Worst concealer I've ever used!
Where to purchase: If you don't take my word for it, head on over to Target but don't say I didn't warn you!

*Rave* - Candles By Victoria!
I recently bought a couple of candles from Candles By Victoria...an amazing mom 'n pop business which hand pours over 500 scents of candle into Mason Jars, Scent Shots, or Reed Diffusers.
Can I just say that these candles rival Yankee Candle as well as the Slatkin & Co. candles sold at Bath & Body Works. Not to mention, there is no such thing as "seasonal" candles with this company. If you adore a scent, you can be sure to get it ALL year round! Plus, you can get a warmer and melt the candles so they are flameless, or a diffuser if you don't want a candle at all....in ALL 500 scents!
I purchased the Cinnabon & Marshmallow Campfire scents - they are AMAZING - especially the Cinnabon one. It smells just like a bakery down here when I light them. I prefer bakery scents, but they have all kinds of categories: Fruity scents, nature scents, etc.
If you haven't checked this site out yet - PLEASE do so now! And help out a company not run by a "CEO" for once!

And I'm back.
Sheesh. I disappeared completely during the month of December, didn't I?
Lots of family things were going on, I was in no state to say ANYTHING positive at all during the last few weeks but...here I AM again. Gonna start up as usual, hopefully posting 2-3 times per week. That's my goal....I know I can do it!
I promise you all...I'm back!
